Fordham

The following haikus were written between Sept 2012 and March 2013.
They refer to my life as a college student at Fordham.

Looked at calendar /
Two months 'til graduation /
Two months to transform

Finally received /
The 2012 yearbook /
Time to reminisce

This paper's hands down /
one of the most difficult /
I've ever written

First day of classes /
I always feel so anxious /
This room is tiny

Class just made me feel /
very uncomfortable /
Wrestling with feelings...

Just realized that /
My twenty-page paper is /
actually TEN!

Writing these papers /
and eating ALL the cookies /
Depression starts now!

Motivation to /
finish these ghastly papers? /
pizza and movies

Procrastinating /
Just applied to graduate /
That's still productive

Two down, one to go /
But for now, a little sleep /
I need to recharge

Proofread my paper /
It almost put me to sleep! /
I've mastered boredom

Finished last paper /
Too tired to celebrate /
Now home for some sleep

Fordham, you did it! /
Channeled outrage creates change. /
Fight the good fight, friends!

Toured Hughes hall today /
A little late in the game /
But... wow O-M-G!

I keep dozing off /
in the library! It's so... /
...humiliating

CSF Rock Band /
Note to self: don't touch the mic /
Say it, don't spray it!

Each time at LC /
I discover something new /
Today: library

Professor, thanks for /
my bday gifts. No class and /
deadline extension

Classes are cancelled! /
SO much time to study, but... /
PROCRASTINATION!

So proud of Fordham. /
You rallied around a cause. /
Now let's keep this up!

It is possible /
but so inconvenient /
that's that grad life, yo

One of my classes /
Ends three weeks before the rest /
Just six sessions left

Moved up to fourteen! /
Fordham Latinos increase /
affirm that action
